Informations:

Himeji Castle it's a complicated construction with 82 buildings made of wood, in the city of Himeji, Province of Hyogo, in Japan. It's like a Treasure National of the Japan, and it was classified as Heritage Worldwide from Humanity by UNESCO, in December, 1993.
The castle was engineered and built in the Nanboku cho age of the Period Muromachi.This perios starts approximately in 1336 to 1573.

Himeji Castle was built for defense from city of Himeji but never has been used for that.It has various defensive sistems like gates, walls and other exterior walls of the complex that are arranged to confuse the invading forces and Himeji has many of the characteristics of defense and military architecture more associated with this castles. High foundations made of stone, white walls, and the monument also has many other examples of typical Japanese design.


The castle of Himeji is important because it has in its history many wars, destructions, reconstructions, to be the way its is in today.It's contain heavy historical.

Annually, two days are devoted especially to the Himeji-jo:

* The Festival Kanokai (first Sunday in April), which celebrates the hanami, or in contemplation of cherry flower;

*The Feast of the Himeji-jo (early August), in a period when everybody can visit the castle, the exterior and the interior.
